Serve Day FAQ's

What is Serve Day?

Serve Day is our annual outreach event where our church family comes together to serve our city in practical ways. From helping local schools and nonprofit partners to assisting the elderly with home projects, caring for families in need, or visiting nursing homes, Serve Day is all about meeting tangible needs and being a blessing to our city. Through these projects, we meet real needs while showing what it looks like to LIVE ON MISSION.

What if my Small Group wants to all serve together?

Small Groups are encouraged to serve together! When you register, make sure everyone in your Small Group selects the same project category (ex: Yukon Schools, Nonprofits, etc.). During registration, you’ll have the option to indicate that your entire group wants to serve together, and our team will assign your group to a specific project site. Project sites can fill up quickly, so we encourage registering early if your Small Group would like to serve together.

What should I bring on Serve Day?

Your project site leader will communicate any project-specific items you may need to bring: gloves, rakes, lawnmowers, tarps, work tools, etc. Bring comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, and a heart ready to serve. You’ll receive a free red Serve Day t-shirt to wear on the day of the event.

How will the church communicate additional details about Serve Day?

Important updates and reminders will be sent via email and text from Faith Church. Your project site leader will also share specific details closer to the event.

What if it rains?

Serve Day will happen rain or shine! Some projects may adjust for weather, and your project site leader will communicate any changes if needed.
