Meet Dacia

It is an honor to get to serve alongside my husband, Jordan, and lead the women of Faith Church Hinton in reaching people and building lives.

When our family moved to Hinton in February 2021, we quickly discovered the importance of creating deep and meaningful relationships. In a small town, finding your “people” is everything! And it’s with that heart that I desire to create opportunities for women to connect to God and to each other.

I have been in a place before when, as a young mother trying to raise babies and also find time for my husband, I craved friends who were pursuing God the same way I was. Friends that could pray with me, challenge me, and walk beside me through both the joys and the trials of life.

Proverbs 27:17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” I believe that when women – no matter what stage of life they’re in – can find support and encouragement as they grow in who God has called them to be, it can change the fabric of our families and our community.

We have a couple of different ways for you to start building those relationships. We have small groups for women as well as events throughout the year that help keep all of our hearts tied together.

I know it can be intimidating to walk into a new place, but my hope is that it feels like home by the time you leave. Whether you’re fresh out of college, or busy trying to keep up with your kids after-school activities, or adjusting to the quiet of an empty nest, we have a place for you here.
